How urgent is it to get treated for a uti? can it wait?

Not clearcut, but...: Have no clue if indeed you have a "UTI", but most bacterial infections of bladder can worsen and some can affect kidneys. Full-blown blood borne sepsis could be a consequence. There is no way to predict in absence of urine testing and clinical assessment. Not wise to wait.

depends on your symptoms. If you have fever see urologist rightaway, if not see MD soon
