I was pulled over this morning by the police. he approached my vehicle from the passenger side, he was not wearing a mask (i wore a n-95 mask) he spoke to me longer than 10mins. what is the chance of exposure to covid-19 if the officer was positive?

Police no mask: This will depend on how many policemen in your area were infected and infectious that day. If you have ID info on officer you and ask to be notified if he had recenly been tested for COVID and to inform you if he becomes infected over next 2 weeks. Depending on what you were pulled over 4 your risk of dying other than COVID may be greater if you continue to drive like that

COVID 19: A couple of positives - if you were in the driver's seat & he approached from the passenger seat - depending on how far his head was from the door, it might have been 4 to 6 feet away. A 2nd positive is that he was standing outside which would help to disperse droplets. Your N95 mask should also provide a certain degree of protection. Can't give you a statistical answers but infection is possible
