I was recently exposed to someone with covid 19 at work, both of us were wearing masks. i am getting tested tomorrow which is about 2 days after my exposure to him. is that too early to get tested? i am symptom free. what are the chances of false neg

COVID 19: The incubation period is usually 2 to 14 days (but can be as quick as one day). The median time if 5 days. You have more chance of having an accurate test result if you have symptoms or you wait at least a few days after COVID 19 contact.

Agree with Dr. F: Covid-19: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html Please contact your doctor by phone for further evaluation and mechanism for testing in your area. Wear a mask, stay away from others, practice hand hygiene. Be sure to get tested, if you get symptoms. If you develop breathing difficulty, go to the nearest hospital, immediately.
