Yolk sac ?'s: The yolk sac formation is usually considered regular , not indented. Depending on the time a yolk sac is identified, and if there is no evidence of fetal heart activity after 6-7 weeks of pregnancy is documented, an irregular shape of the yolk sac without fetal heart activity may be predictive of incipient miscarriage.
