does seeing a yolk sac mean fetus?

No: Seeing a yolk sac only lets us know that at least the pregnancy is in the right location within the uterus and not in the fallopian tubes. To confirm that it is a good, viable pregnancy, you will need a follow-up scan in a week or two to show the fetal pole with a heartbeat. The fetal pole/fetus is not the same as the yolk sac.

Ultrasound: It depends if ultrasound was pelvic or vaginal. Depends on the size of the sac. If gestational sac measures around 2cm you should see a fetal pole.
