No: Cervical cancer is not hereditary. It is caused by a sexually transmitted disease called hpv.

Not likely: To my knowledge, inheritance has little to do with the typical type of cervical cancer (squamous). It relates mostly to human papilloma virus infection (mostly subtypes 16 & 18), which are sexually transmitted. Smoking and immunosuppression (HIV) are also risk factors. My advice: don't smoke and avoid risky lifestyles.
