My mom starts chemo this week for stage 1 endometrial cancer. she will need radiation and recently had a hysterectomy. oncologist said only needs chemo cause of serous like cells present. im so worried. shes 74. does this sound right?

"Serous cells" are not malignant, and if the pathology diagnosis of the uterus after removal did not reveal malignancy, ask the oncologist to better explain the lack of need for the chemotherapy, and why "radiation" is also being recommended.
