Contractions: It could be Braxton Hicks contractions (practice contractions) or something more severe (preterm labor). Call your Dr ASAP so that they can do some monitoring and determine if you are having contractions. There are medications available to stop true contractions and prevent early labor but they must be administered in a hospital setting. Do not delay in seeing your Dr.
