A member asked:

Right upper abdomen pain when pushed in with 2 fingers. previously while1st pregnant gyn1 said there is gall stone. 2nd preg gyn2 said it doesnt look like stone but a tissue growth. my 2nd child is 18m. could this pain be from that growth?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

RUQ pain: Common things are common and gall stones are more common than gall bladder growths like polyps or tumors. I recommend another RUQ ultrasound if one hasn't been done recently. Do you have abdominal distress after eating fatty foods? A consultation with an abdominal surgeon for an opinion would be worthwhile. Gallstones are relatively common in fertile women.
