Get bad heartburn, when i took pantoprazole for a month, it went away completely,stopped, was good for 3 weeks and now getting heartburn again, do not want endoscopy, should i have taken ppi longer? how long is safe and to cure completely? help?

Heartburn: Work with your treating physician as medicating without lifestyle changes may not be enough. PPI's such as pantoprazole are very potent acid suppressants that are notorious of causing rebound symptoms when stopped abruptly. Losing weight if applicable would be best in the long run.
