I had a total hysterectomy and because there was a blockage on the right kidney, my urologist inserted stents from my kidneys to the ureter. how long would i need it ?

It depends: On the actual cause for the blockage. If it can be repaired, stents will stay in until blockage repaired. if unrepairable, stents will stay in indefinitely - your urologist should be your best reference at this point as to properly managing the stents going forward.
