My 2month old is irritable, sleepless, and crying often when i lay her down, she has started drooling and i've noticed her pulling her left ear often, her vaccination site(bcg) is also red and purulent, is this an ear infection or teething?

DR & MFT: For the redness and PUS & questions on L ear pulling, please see your doctor ASAP. It looks like your baby is uncomfortable with her L ear area, but just cannot communicate well. Not sleeping well may be related, or not. Teething at 2 months seems less likely though. She may have an airway issue or poor tongue posture. For that, consult with an MFT myofunctional therapist (and airway dentist).

Perhaps both: Symptoms suggestive of infection, but may also be teething. Report symptoms to her Pediatrician, and make sure to mention vaccination site.
