Crying Babies: There is nothing more aggravating as seeing your child in pain or misery. But, it sounds like the crying has subsided today? If it has then waiting is fine. But if not i would want to know if the child is having a fever? Eating? Lethargic? If there are any acute worrisome signs today then getting into the clinic is appropriate and perhaps urgent today.

Call the MD: Most inflants don't spend the nite crying and pulling at their ears. We'd like to think that teething is causing some of the problem but with the teeth coming in mostly in the front they don't usually bother kids...It's when the back ones start appearing. Pulling at their ears may mean an ear infection, without a fever is possible. Also a change in altitude or barometric pressure could do it.
