This, along with mild fevers, runny nose, and constantly biting or chewing on objects are common during teething, and will come and go during the teething process. Check with your family dentist for suggestions to help alleviate your child's discomfort.

Could be-: With the eruption of new teeth and the release of histamine- it is a possibility that his teething my be contributing. However, to rule out allergy or alternative issue- it does not hurt to visit with a pediatric dentist as they are experienced more with the growth and development of a child. Many gps can see children but their experience is not as extensive in the realm of pediatric dentistry.

Could be: It definitely can be due to teething. When molars erupt they can cause pain. Because your child can not specify the location of the pain they may be reaching for the general vicinity.
