I was working today with gloves and someone handed me a bill with blood on it. my hands are all dry and cracked and raw. when i took my gloves off i may have touched my raw skin and dry cracked hands. can i get hep c this way from the blood?

Doubtful: The only way hep C is transmitted is from blood though a break in your skin; never through intact skin. This is termed a bloodborne exposure. If you have an abrasion, wound or skin break you need to be tested for hepatitis C as well as hepatitis B and HIV. If in doubt you should be tested. This happened at work so you should file it as a worker's compensation case (talk to your HR person).
