Hi. my 5 yr old son is very hyper active . i took himto a paediatrician last year, he was put on ritalin la, which did not show much of a difference and cicardin to sleep early , which that did help. he is active, nonstop.he only falls asleep by 1am?

Return to doc: Just because the first trial of meds did not work doesn’t mean meds will fail. Return or call your child’s doc to,discuss what you listed here, and hopefully, the next pharmacological treatment will be more effective, or other means will be suggested such as counseling, food choices and structure changes within the home.
