See below: It may be caused by the Ritalin (methylphenidate) and oddly, sometimes the narcolepsy because of your sleep times and napping times. When do you take your ritalin (methylphenidate)? Taking it close to bedtime or even in the after noon can keep you up late. If you need to nap, take naps earlier in the daytime, if possible. Discuss options with your sleep doctor to manage your narcolepsy ; difficulty sleeping. Hope that helps!
