Where you got 30 as an upper limit/age is confusing, mine is 40. What you mean by at rest is also a problem. Sleep= the best at rest measure. Breathing rate should reflect the metabolic or physical activity of a kid. While moving/growing/digesting a meal all require more oxygen which is provided by a more breathing. If the kid acts sickly, see your doc. A doc visit with an okay is valuable.

The respiratory rate measurement may vary and if your daughter is otherwise well, a routine visit with your Pediatrician is recommended. If you hear cough, wheezing, upper airway sounds or notice drooling/difficulty breathing, please see a physician soon. Monitor temperature, provide adequate hydration and keep immunizations up to date. Ensure that there is no source of pain and no fever.
