Should i get an antibiotic for this razor bumps thue have been like this for a week now and the dr i went to see gave me prednisone and she says its dermititis?

Razor bumps can be caused by either dermatitis in which the skin is abraded and inflamed (treated with prednisone), or folliculitis in which bacteria enter into the traumatized follicles and cause a skin infection (treated with antibiotics). Return to your DR for a reevaluation. Since they have lasted a week, it is likely an infection.
