I had an x-ray of my right jaw and they found a mass under my right eye and want to do a ct scan. nothing to do with my jaw. what could this be. ?

Many things: You should have either ct or mr examination to determine more of the characteristics of the finding on the radiograph. Origin can be from regional bone , maxillary or ethmoid sinus, or regional soft tissues.
