Head trauma: If you have no signs of nausea, or sleepiness, or change in behavior or appetite - you need only to avoid further injuries.

Brain injured?: For head trauma in the presence of concussion or persistent neurologic deficits, ct scan, not skull x-ray should have been done. If you are several days past the injury and have neither headache or neurologic symptoms, further brain imaging is not likely to be helpful.
