Second opinion: Not normal, and so it very much comes down to specific diagnosis. Some conditions are easily senn in structural studies such as an MRI or ct scan, but some are not seen on tests like that. ALS is one example. Make sure you are seeing a neurologist and consider a second opinion if there is not any progress toward a diagnosis made.
