Corns on feet: Corns are a sign of excessive pressure on certain parts of the foot. It may have to do with the type of shoes you are wearing, the bone structure of the foot and whether sensation in your feet works properly. Corns can be painful. These need an evaluation by a podiatrist or orthopedic surgeon to determine cause. Also, plantar warts can look like corns. Please see your dr. For evaluation.

Depends on symptoms: How much pain is the corn causing? You may run if minimal pain. Corns on the top of the toes are usually hard corns. Soft corns are between the toes. Both are caused by repetitive friction to the area. So, the goal is to reduce this friction. Proper-fitting shoes, esp. Running shoes, are very important. Otc pads/moleskin may be used to cushion the area. Use salicylic acid products with caution.

No: The presence of corns on a foot may be due to an underlying deformity that causes a pressure point in the affected area of the foot so continued jogging or running is not recommended. Please visit a podiatrist of your choice so that a thorough evaluation can be done along with the proper treatment for your condition.
