Corns: Corns are usually the result of bony irritation of the skin against shoes, other toes or the ground. If it is truly a corn (could be other things) it will not go away until the pressure causing it is resolved. This may mean change of shoes, padding around the site or surgery to correct the deformity causing the corn.
