Hi i went to the er with chest pains. i have high anxiety. they did a d dimer test. it was 2.41. they ordered a ct with contrast .. no clots found. all other levels were normal and i was discharged. i do have elevated liver enzymes if that matters?

Chest pain : Chest pain in 27 years with a negative CT chest. even if you have no stomach symptoms, the treatment of choice is a PPI (proton pump inhibitor ) like Nexium with the idea that the stomach is a very common reason for chest pain. Speak to your doctor I am certainly not seeing the entire picture. Do you have shortness of breath, leg swelling, how is your anxiety or health

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!
