NO: no you need to image the lung and pericardium to diagnose a PE.

Hi I went to the ER with chest pains. I have high anxiety. They did a d dimer test. It was 2.41. They ordered a CT with contrast .. No clots found. All other levels were normal and I was discharged. I do have elevated liver enzymes if that matters?
