A member asked:

I had low b12 levels, 133 pmol/l, then i took dail 500 mcg supplement for a month. the level went up to 208 pmol/l, is this a good progress? or it should've been higher?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You remain low: Your B-12 level is below normal, and does need to be raised. Not clear how well the oral supplement is absorbed. A much faster, and efficient, approach is to inject B-12 once monthly. Your doctor could arrange this readily.
