What can be the cause of a fractured finger not healing (growing back) after more than 7 weeks? my orthopedic surgeon said to wear splint only and no surgery, but how will the splint help if there's already no sign of healing? please advise.

Possible non- union: I suggest a repeat evaluation, repeat x-rays and MRI from your treating orthopedic surgeon.
