Powder: Make sure you wash and dry feet thoroughly, powder your shoes and consider synthetic socks such as polypropylene to wick away moisture. If possible, have two or more pairs of work boots and rotate to allow drying time. Cushioned inserts can help, provided they are a material that breathes, not gel.

Wicking socks: If you have chronic problems with damp feet from wearing boots all day long, i would recommend that you purchase some of the new moisturing wicking socks. Many places sell these. It would be much healthier for your feet to keep them as dry as possible to prevent fungal infections or other skin conditions associated with chronic moisture against the skin.
