Hi doctor, i have had nasal congestion for about 3 days now, just after taking a shower today i realized that i have lost my sense of smell although my nose is not as blocked as it was the past couple days. could this be covid?

Yes: Loss of smell is one feature of COVID 19. Rinse nasal passages with saline,rest and drink fluids. Please have a test and self isolate.

COVID 19 concerns: Suspicion for COVID 19 is higher if you have at least 2 of these symptoms: temp of at least 99.6 F (37.5 C), Cough, Shortness of breath, Chills, Shivering, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat or new loss of taste or smell. COVID 19 is possible.
