Constipation: Have you experienced pain during defecation? If not contraindicated, you should take 6-10 prunes in the night and drink a glass of water in the morning in addition to following your doctor’s advice about laxatives. Go to toilet only when you feel the need. It may take 2-3 days. Without exertion, hemorrhoids are rare. Once you will have soft stools, this fear will vanish for good . Hope It helps.
