Pain: Severe tearing pain with a bm and some bleeding is usually due to an anal fissure. Drinking more fluids, less caffeine and alcohol will make stool less hard and easier to pass, but this should be evaluated and the diagnosis confirmed to get the best treatment and resolution.

Fissure: Could be an anal fissure. Soft stools without straining. There is topical medication that may help so call your doctor.
