Yesterday morning i had an alarming amount of blood on my stool (darker red blood) & bright red on toilet paper. i had a hemorrhoid a yr ago could it possibly be hemorrhoid again? *ive set an appointment with my physician but its a month from now?

From what you described, a recurrent hemorrhoid is a likely explanation. It is good that you will be seeing a doctor to get is checked out. Wish you good health!

While hemorrhoids appear as the likely cause for your bleeding, other conditions causing same cannot be ruled out. Blood is usually bright red with hemorrhoids otherwise. Having the follow up will ensure a proper diagnosis is made. Avoid constipation at all cost in the interim.
