Can i take an injection against pneumonia ( which i presently do not have) as a precaution ?

Can or should ?: I expect anyone with a competent immune system could benefit from the immune boosting effect of either of the 2 main pneumococcal vaccines at any age. One is given primarily to infants and those over 65, the other to those at risk. Whether you could get an insurer to pay for it before the recommended age is another matter.

Vaccine: The CDC recommends Pneumococcal vaccines in people over 65 and sometimes younger depending on other health conditions. I don't policies in South Africa.
