Normal: Trauma to the nail can cause the entire nail to fall off. Do not worry as it does grow back. if the injured nail is on her toes, make sure that she is wearing shoes when she walks around to minimize foot and toe injury both inside the house and outside. There is no precautions needed if it is the nails on the hands.
