I injured my big toe nail in a soccer game a few years ago. the toe nail is black it doesn't grow anymore. what type of dr can help with treatment?

Unfortunately: it sounds like the nail growth band (located at the base) was injured. You could consult a Dermatologist for an exact Diagnosis. The Treatment (if this is the diagnosis) is removal of the "dead" nail and possible cosmetic surgical evaluation. Hope this is helpful Dr Z
