I have recently had covid. i have a pain behind my leg, right leg at the back above my knee. there is a visible vein about 20 centimetres that wasnt there before. pain is mostly when i bend my leg. ?

Recent COVID 19.: Medical assessment is likely the best route at this point. Many providers are now recommending post- COVID 19 assessment in patients who had significant symptoms or sequela after recovery.

Exam needed: Clot formation in blood vessels is a recognized problem with Covid infections. Your symptoms may be due to phlebitis and a venous ultrasound study of your leg is recommended, especially if that vein is tender or if any lower leg,ankle or foot swelling is present. Call your MD for instructions.
