A member asked:

Good evening and happy healthy new year doctors! how is a prolactinoma usually treated? is it with drugs or with surgery first? if it is by chance with drugs first, how long do you stay on the drugs before follow up....3 months, a year, longer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually meds.: Usually meds if testosterone levels are low. If a pituitary tumor is present, follow up in 6 months depending on symptoms, You may consider surgery.
