Possibly: Prolactinomas have been known to cause weight gain, but I feel that good dietary measures are also going to be needed. If you need counselling on your diet, make one appointment with the dietician at your hospital for the best diet for you and you will be told what your ideal weight and daily calorie intake should be for best results.

Probably: Most patients who have a prolactinoma removed are able to lose weight afterward.
