A member asked:

What doctor shall i see for opinion on location of a prolactinoma & the risks of surgery there, a neurologist or neurosurgeon? don't want surgery yet.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Endocrinologist: Depending on symptoms and the size of the tumor, prolactinoma's can be managed medically or surgically. You can start with an endocrinologist who can always coordinate care with a neurosurgeon. However, if you are having symptoms of double vision, headaches, etc. - you need to be seen more urgently.
