Ilioinguinal nerve: With hernia surgery one can get scar tissue formation that affects the ilioinguinal nerve (numbness thigh) and genitofemoral nerve branches off and can also be affected. Repair is usually not successful. Sometimes PT with stretching may help. Also nerve blocks with steroid can be helpful.
