Hi. my daughter (4 years old) had exposure to my sister in law on monday 21 dec. my sister in law tested positive on 25th. my wife tested on 28th and was negative. my daughter really doesnt want to do test. if i do test today will that be ok?

Covid 19: If you and your wife are negative, there is still a chance that she could be positive. Your option if she does not want to take the test is to quarantine her for the full 14 days to see if she develops any symptoms. Young children typically have a milder form of the disease.

Your choice: Testing is helpful when a person is symptomatic to know how to proceed with isolation, quarantine, and distancing. If there are no symptoms it’s your choice, but would wait at least a week to test if no symptoms, unless she is having symptoms and continue to isolate
