A member asked:

My mri in july showed white matter lesions in the periventricular area. ive been experiencing numbness weakness tingling etc. i just had a follow mri on which they now found lesions in the bifrontal subcortal area. are these the same area?

My interpretation: The MRI anatomy is different in the two films, if I interpret that the bifrontal subcortical area represents NEW lesions. These kinds of changes may be seen in multiple sclerosis but can be associated with other conditions also. If this seems to be an ongoing evaluation, you would benefit from a definite conclusion. Meet with a neurologist and discuss the next steps and plans for treatment.
