Neurologist: Tingling and true numbness in that region may be due to a problem in the lower end of the spinal cord. Multiple sclerosis, disk trouble and growths come to mind. The best specialist to evaluate, advise and follow you would be a neurologist who will discuss the MRI findings with you.
