Krill oil: I always recommended taking krill oil and omega 3 fish oil supplements in the morning just before breakfast, but recent studies reveal that they're best absorbed when taken with a meal which contains some fat (as long as it's healthy fat). At least take it with or right after a meal, but I don't think a protein shake quite qualifies.
