Almost anyone: If you are generally healthy, don't have a milk allergy or allergy to the ingredients, and young you should be ok. If you have a chronic medical illness you should ask your doctor. There is no set period you can or cannot have it. Depends on your weight goal or workout regimen as well.

What results?: whey protein is a dietary supplement. It is like eating any other food. If you diet is deficient in protein you can see a response of improved health. Taking excessive protein can be detrimental. For the majority of people it is not needed.
