Not generally: Hello- X-rays are usually obtained by your doctor, orthopedist or urgent care center then referred to PT if treatment/ therapy is needed.

Need to review: The films and reports are important to allow the physical therapist anatomical knowledge to properly design a treatment program. ideally, the referring doctor has already ordered films just to be safe, and exclude bony changes which could worsen with some therapy approaches, and confirm or disconfirm diagnoses.
