A member asked:

Can a doctor determine someone having a pinched nerve without having done an mri first, and would doing physical therapy be doing more damage to it?

Yes: Symptoms alone can strongly suggest a "Pinched Nerve". In most cases, as long as there are no ominous signs your doctor can see, PT is safe.
