After xmas day i woke up and all of my fingers including my thumb is numb, my pinky finger is not. when i attempt to use them it burns. they've been like this almost 24 hours now. what's wrong with them?

Go to the ER: From your description you've had this problem since xmas or just for 24 hours. If its been just one day, get to the ER now, not tomorrow. At your age (101) you are at risk for nerve infarction and just have a couple of days to return circulation to the nerve or lose it. If it isn't an ischemic problem, they can set you up for EMG studies and referral to a hand surgeon. Dont wait and good luck.
