It appears that i have mild middle ear infection. i've had middle ear infection before where my dr prescribed antibiotics & genpayne. i've been taking genpayne & septogard, though would you suggest taking aurone forte ear drops as well? chantelle?

Otitis media: The treatment for an ear drum infection is oral antibiotics. The only ear drops usually prescribed is ones to reduce pain from the inflamed drum.Aurone ear drums are used to remove ear wax. If your MD was able to diagnose a middle ear infection, he/she must have had a clear view of the ear drum and,thus, there couldn't have been a large wax buildup in the canal. Your MD can advise you best.
